Yeah, I like making stuff like that too. I'm a pretty good cook, but I don't really do fancy recipes that are focused on presentation. What's most important is that it tastes good and keeps you going, and that you enjoy eating it.
Nothing great, but at least the selection of canned foods here is pretty good, and there's enough seasonings to help with any bland or weird tastes.
Oh, Ali brought these fresh fish back the other day, though! I added some of 'em to a stew I was already cooking when she came by, and it turned out pretty good... I dried some of the other ones so they could be preserved longer, since we don't have a good icebox or anything. So those should last us as long as we're here, at least.
